At the age of 10, Papken Injarabian was forced to heave his hometown with his sick father, mother, and two sisters on June 23, 1915.

Fifteen years ago, President Calvin Coolidge's son recalled the famous rug’s arrival: "The Christmas gift that impressed my father the most was the 'Isfahan Rug' woven by Armenian children in the Ghazir Orphanage."
