NEF Welcomes Four New Directors

New York, NY (June 28, 2012) — The Near East Foundation (NEF) is pleased to announce that four new members have joined its Board of Directors.

The new Directors are Alexander Ghiso, Matthew Quigley, Soroush Shehabi, and Robert Solomon.

Mr. Ghiso is an Analyst in the Global Value team at Vinik Asset Management LP, where he focuses on investment opportunities in the financial and real estate sectors. Based in New York City, Mr. Quigley is a Senior Managing Director of The Blackstone Group, one of the world’s leading investment and advisory firms, where he also oversees GSO’s Customized Credit Strategies unit. Mr. Shehabi is CEO of Washington Life magazine, and a Principal in a 70-year-old business-to-business media information service company. Mr. Solomon is a Vice Chairman of Marsh Inc., a global insurance broker and risk management firm, which he joined in 1974.
