As a result of NEF’s partnership with Syracuse University, several accomplished students accompanied by two distinguished professors, Ken Harper and Steve Davis, traveled this year to the West Bank and Israel to report on NEF’s work. The purpose of their visit was twofold. For the students, it was an opportunity to experience working outside of the United States and to learn how to report on controversial stories without becoming entrenched in any related political issues. For NEF and its partners, it was an opportunity to have in-depth stories told about the impact of our regional projects and the people who drive and benefit from them.
