Khadija is a single mother in the West Bank village of Haris. She started a clothing shop a few years ago in order to give herself a degree of financial independence. While she was successful in this venture, she received a lot of support from her brother. She approached NEF and Rangoonwala’s Palestinian Women’s Microenterprise Development project to expand her clothing business, learn to market her new skills, and completely take over the operation of her business.
